Juggling art, family and work... while building a house.

Yip yip yip, uh-huuuh
See why Shea was such a hit this Halloween?
He found the instructions online and then hounded, pestered, bugged and nagged me for weeks until I took him shopping in search of the perfect shaggy-monster (or should that be alien) fabric.
It's a juggling act. Trying to balance raising a family and working, with making art and building a new house.
I'm not a professional blogger (oh, you could tell?) and started this blog as a way to keep friends & family up-to-date on our house-building progress and keep a record of the whole adventure.
We're in our fabulous new home now (I have a very talented husband) and are picking away at our very long list of finishing tasks. Next big job: landscaping. I have a studio again so this blog will do double-duty as an artist blog too. I seem to post about every two weeks, but do have a reputation for being consistently inconsistent so keep checking back. Click on the archives below starting from the bottom (2007)to read our whole house-building adventure from the beginning.

What a great costume - way to go Mom! (for helping him pull off such a feat of creativity!)
Did he actually go out trick or treating? How did he see? Such a great display of creativity - wonder where he gets that from (ha ha ha)
